We’ve chosen a breathtaking location nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains for our wedding. The venue is surrounded by sprawling forests and panoramic views that promise to make our day unforgettable. Imagine an outdoor ceremony with the mountains as our backdrop, the air filled with the scent of pine, and the gentle rustle of leaves—a perfect setting for saying “I do.”


Sustainable and Eco-Friendly Choices

Being passionate about the environment, we’ve made a commitment to ensure our wedding is as eco-friendly as possible. From biodegradable confetti to locally sourced, organic food for our reception, every detail is being chosen with sustainability in mind. We're even opting for digital invitations to minimize paper use!


Cultural Celebrations

Our wedding will be a fusion of our diverse backgrounds, blending American and international elements into the ceremony and festivities. We plan to incorporate traditional music, dance, and customs from both of our heritages, creating a vibrant and inclusive celebration. It’s important for us that our wedding day reflects not just our love for each other but also the rich cultures that have shaped who we are.

To add a personal touch, we’re crafting some of our own decorations. I’ve been getting my hands dirty making macramé plant hangers and hand-painted wooden signs that say things like “Adventure Awaits” and “Better Together.” These DIY elements bring our personal journey into the details of our day, making it all the more special.


The Dress and Attire

Finding the perfect wedding dress was a saga of its own! After trying on what felt like a hundred dresses, I found the one—a beautiful gown that makes me feel like myself, only a bit more magical. It’s simple yet stunning, with delicate lace detailing that mirrors the natural beauty around us. My partner has chosen a smart, tailored suit that complements the rustic elegance of our mountain setting.

With each day that passes, our excitement builds. We’ve been enjoying every step of this journey, from the planning and preparations to the quiet moments we spend dreaming about our future together. This wedding isn’t just about the celebration of a single day but the joy of the incredible life we plan to build together.
